Aimhigher - YR9
What you choose now is important – whether
it’s GCSEs, a 14–19 Diploma, BTEC First or
one of the other Key Stage 4 qualifi cations
on offer in Newham. This will mean two years
of intensive study. Friends and family, your
teachers and personal advisers can all help
with ideas and suggestions but only YOU can
decide what’s right for you. You may also decide
you’d like to continue studying after you’re 16,
to improve your career prospects and increase
your earnings potential. The next two years
should not only provide your passport to further
learning, or work with training, but should also
give you the skills and knowledge you need to
succeed there. Whatever you decide, make sure
you ENJOY it! If you love doing something, you
will be motivated to do more – and better. |
